If you’ve ever been nervous about taking a career break and what it would do to your career prospects, then think again. These days, employers can see the value in taking a career break. You may not realise it, but you pick up a whole host of transferable skills when travelling. Skills such as negotiation, planning, problem solving and communication are all skills that employers look for in potential candidates.
